What a hectic day

Today is a tiring and unlucky day. I just felt really exhausted from walking so much, I think I lost 1-2 kg. Si Rui and I met up at Jurong East MRT to go to Fort Canning Park for cca. We were actually half an hour early when we reached Dhoby Ghaut MRT, and we were walking around asking many people for directions but to no avail, we were lost - we couldn't find that particular bus-stop at the main entrance of the park where everyone was supposed to meet. We ended up finding them in Fort Canning and were 1 hour late. Guilty us.

This was where we were stuck at.

I felt really tired in the afternoon and I kept yawning, I've no idea why. But we had lunch at Bugis and there was this group of aunties who kept staring at us. So weird and awkward. Shouldn't have sat near them.

Pepper lunch and a refreshing cup of watermelon juice!

Food always makes me happy. I didn't feel so tired after lunch. Food cures!

We also went to Cotton On and I got this!

Wanted this, but it was too expensive. :-(

Headed to Bugis Street and it was crowded - okay, quite expected. Couldn't really find anything that really caught my eye. (I'm not that picky, am I?) Actually I've to admit that I was short of cash. I wanted a high waisted shorts which fit me perfectly but I did not have enough money. How disappointing and embarrassing. We ended up getting out of the shop telling the shop owner we would look around before coming back. But we never did. :'-(

I actually thought of getting a tribal pattern sleeveless top but I ended up buying this. It's nice too.

Okay, I'm so random. But this is what Bugis mall (?) looks like.

Thought there was a direct bus which I could take back home or one that stops at Bukit Timah, but no! (Ryan Higa imitation) I ended up taking the MRT. Okay maybe it wasn't that bad, but there was this noisy secondary school guy wearing a Calvin Klein belt with his school uniform who was getting on my nerves.

So that was how my day went.

Oh I just wanted to show you that this traffic light button at Bugis is so special.

Goodbye!

A day out

It has been long since I've last updated. I've a reason! Actually, why must I give an explanation. Hm, so my end-of-year exams have ended today. Physics was a killer, I tell ya'! And I don't know what to say, because the other papers weren't easy at all. I'll be receiving my results next Monday, all the best to me. :-(

I didn't geta chance to update regularly, so the thing is Si Rui and I went to see Prince William and Kate Middleton a month ago at the Rainbow Centre, which is within walking distance from my school! We stayed back for lumch specifically to catch a glimpse of them! And waited for like 30 minutes or so, I forgot.

In fact, the picture isn't clear 'cause we weren't close to them! Many secondary school students were present lol. I still have the British flag kept with me. -memories-

As I've mentioned earlier, I've been busy this month so we only got to have our well-deserved lunch/brunch after our last paper today! Jcube, again. We are always looking at the directory for at least 10 minutes every single time we visit a mall to decide what we should have for lunch. Not surprising at all. ;-)

It has become a habit to snap a picture of what my meal is (if it looks good, that is) and I think it's pretty lame but I still do it. OK, so this was what I had at Chili's.

Chicken crispers with caesar salad.

Look at the menu at the back! It seems like I'm having root beer, lol.

A waiter was walking by our table and I could feel him looking at us or rather, what we were doing. And he came over when Si Rui was trying to snap a photo of the movie tickets and he was asking us which movie we were going to watch. He told us that Taken was good, and recommended Ted. Haha, he was friendly though. But the short conversation was awkward.

Well, Taken 2 isn't a movie that I would recommend because I'm actually not interested in films which contain violence or horror. And I was quite scared initially because of all the violence (I was covering my ears and closed my eyes at certain parts of the movie), but I felt neutral in the end as he killed so many people - just to rescue his ex-wife and daughter. They are also human! And he treated them like they were nothing. Oh what a hero.

So let me give you a brief summary of what Taken is really about! *Spoiler alert!*
Taken: Bryan Mill's daughter, Kim was kidnapped. And he killed the kidnapper. Simple huh.
Taken 2: The group of kidnappers took hostage of Bryan's family as the previous kidnapper's father swore to take revenge on him because he killed his son, and Bryan eventually rescued them.
Taken 3 (my prediction which will most likely happen): The other son of the father (whom I don't what his name is) will try to seek revenge on Bryan. And Bryan ends up killing him. And this will continue for generations to come! How exciting! The end.

We also visited a bookshop which sells many varieties of books and novels!

I would like these books written by Nicholas Sparks please. Esp the notebook! Really touching story.

Till then.
