Start of the march holidays

I've finally changed my blog background! I should really be packing my bag for camp tomorrow, but i guess you know me very well, I'll make a quick update before that. :-) 

It's officially the March Holidays on Monday, which is tomorrow and I'll be having Guides Induction camp tomorrow till Tuesday. Yeap so I've received all my Common Test results already, and yea i haven't been doing well. So I really should make use of this holiday to start catching up, especially for Science. Last Thursday, Si Rui and I went to Clementi Mall! We had buffet at Seoul Garden. And I couldn't finish my food. They didn't specify the portion for one serving so we ended up wasting food and you don't wanna know what we did..... Okay anyway, on Friday, we had a learning journey to the Parliament House, which was not compulsory. We had to go through several security checks, and we get to enter the Main Chambers, which is mainly where all the debates go on. We sort of 'observed' how they debated and gave their speeches etc. I saw Lee Hsien Loong ha ha~ And returned to school to have CCA.

Well, on Saturday which was yesterday, I had tuition as usual. I met up with Chia Lynn at Bukit Timah Plaza because I wanted to see the dog show which started at 12 p.m., but it wasn't even a show. It was basically some prize-giving thing. Maybe after that was the show, but i didn't manage to see it anyway. Had lunch at KFC and we chatted about school etc. Went to her place after that and she used her computer while I was trying to concentrate and do my maths holiday assignment which I only ended up doing 4 questions. How pathetic. Had English tuition after that and went home. As for today, I was doing household chores, and met up with my patrol mates at Queenstown. We practiced our "What Makes You Beautiful" dance which was pretty short. 

Yea, I'm gonna end this post. It isn't as short as I thought it will be. I'm sorry for the really wordy post! Goodbye! I'll update after camp. 

Nordic wild

Hi faithful blog readers. :-) my common tests have just ended on Thursday. And I promised to blog after that. Yeap so here it is!

Generally the papers were hard. Science, English and history especially. And today is Sunday! I'll be going to have a nice swim with Si Rui in the afternoon at Jurong West Swimming Complex.

I've been watching National Geographic Wild. The breathtaking scenery and the fascinating wildlife just amazes you. And here they are! There was this Nordic Wild cat from Greenland I guess and it has a beautiful coat. But I couldn't find the picture.

Haha last one is a domestic schnauzer. ;-)

Birthdays

So how was your chinese new year like? Well I had buffet with my family at Orchard. Okay that was quite long ago. Anyway it was my dad's birthday on the 31st of January. And we went to Fish & Co at Clementi Mall to celebrate his birthday! :-)

It was actually cross country on my birthday. They changed the distance from 3.2 to 2.4 km! I felt a little unwell while running. I almost died halfway through. Haha well had lunch with Si Rui and Vanessa and also Poojitha and Sharon at Subway. And went to west mall with my sister to collect the parcel from the blogshop. For dinner, we went to Sakae Sushi. I had this mochi (that wasn't very nice actually).

Yea so that's pretty much it. Won't be updating, probably until 2 weeks later because of common tests etc. Anyway it's not just common tests, my teachers have been giving many tests and quizzes. And there will be a welcome 'party' for the Secondary 1s tomorrow for Guides. The theme is retro... So yea. I'll tell you how it goes for me. Thanks for reading. :-)

Left out

Everytime you guys are talking i feel that I'm left out of your conversations. I should be more open minded and I tried but it always stays the same.

Guess I shouldn't be so worked up. Watched this movie that was filmed quite some time back called The karate kid. It's a fantastic movie. Just that I watched it halfway. Chinese test tomorrow and I need to start revising.

I mean this is how I really feel and maybe I'll laugh about this when I grow older. It's quite silly. I shouldn't be unhappy over these things. I saw this quote on Tumblr last time, "it will be okay in the morning". A new day is a fresh start so why am I thinking so much?

Short update on the way home

Have been pretty busy recently because school just reopened etc. Well it's the second week of school. And earlier last week, Saturday, I accompanied my sister to imm to buy some materials for her learning corner. It was past 8 and was pretty dark. Was speed walking And fell 😓 lol it hurt quite a bit at first but it should be just a minor injury. On Sunday my sister went over to my aunt's place with some other cousins to bake pineapple tarts yum! Couldn't come along because I had guitar class.

Oh and sorry if the format of my post is weird or something. Still not sure of this blogger app. And I shall end my post with this picture of my dearest Boy. 😊

New year

Hi it's no longer 2011. First day of school today. Brought all the textbooks required for Tuesday but none of the teachers used them. Well anyway, my form teacher is mrs loy. And for both additional math and elementary math they are the same teacher ms wong. She's pretty nice and understanding. I've been given homework already. ._.

As for Christmas i got this jacket from my sister. It's kinda thick but i like it. 😊

I just got this bag. But I don't think it would be able to hold my books. 😔

I'm blogging before I leave the house for school. Don't really know the format for this Blogger application haha.

Had a stay over at Elaine's place last Saturday for the new year countdown. My sister was with Gillot and Eugenia haha. Played monopoly deal for like 2 hours or so? Went to the rooftop to
play with the sparkles etc.

She showed me her kindergarten photos. And her other pictures haha. Mm then watched some hong kong new year movie using the portable dvd player. Slept at almost 5 am omg. Lol on new year we went to wear mall to have lunch and that's pretty much it.

Busy week!

I've been really busy last week. Have been going to HCA Hospice Care for CIP voluntary work with Si Rui from last Wednesday to Friday. We signed up for admin work, and we were under Guat Lin. It felt like we were doing all her unfinished work. Went up to the staff office. The staff there are pretty nice, they gave us food etc haha. As for Friday, woke up as usual at 6:30 A.M. which is so early, though i didn't have any trouble waking up. And did admin work and had lunch with Si Rui and her sisters. The performance wasn't well-organised. Got a chance to talk to some other volunteers. One of them was a guy from Clementi Town. He's only 15, and i thought he was 19 almost 20 or something. 

And yesterday was Christmas. :-) Had a family gathering at Holiday Inn Hotel. Had buffet but I wasn't really hungry so I didn't eat much. Spent the rest of my day at my cousin's place playing with the iPad and the ukulele. As for Christmas Eve, got the iPad for my dad for Christmas and his birthday. Of course the price is shared by my mum, sister and I. :-) 

One week left before school reopens. I'm gonna be broke. Will post up pictures soon. Stay tuned for more updates! :-)
