Worst lunch experience ever

Have you ever walked into a restaurant and realize you do not have enough cash to foot the bill after finishing your meal?

Well, I have. After my school's national day celebration, Si Rui and I went to Manhattan fish market to have lunch but I actually didn't want to because of the dory fish I had the previous time. It didn't taste really good (to me) even though it looks quite scrumptious. Here's proof:
But Si Rui likes it anyway. I remembered I pointed to the menu "chicken olio spaghetti" which cost $9.90 to the waitress. Who knew when they passed us the receipt, it cost $13.90, and with the coffee and gst and service charge, the amount which I had to pay was over 20 bucks! I was sitting there, scraping my scalp, (no it didn't happen) and we were wondering how do we pay for the bill because it seemed much more expensive than we had expected! We were short of a dollar plus. And I was thinking, "do we have to wash the dishes to make up for it?" oh gosh, no. :-( anyway I told the waiter and he looked annoyed with me and the waitress who took the order for us came and explained that she had repeated the order twice, but I didn't recall her saying that my spaghetti was "regular" portion. She was really nice because she changed my order and yea. Oh I just noticed that she didn't write down the orders but just remembered them by heart. Or do most of the restaurants do that? I think it isn't such a good idea.

It was such an embarrassing moment and probably the worst lunch experience ever. :-( I know I was at fault too. Which includes the coffee thing and I feel guilty about it. And I think the workers there really hate me. Lol. Oh well, I'll never dare to go there again. I've learnt my lesson. Make sure you can afford your meal before going into a restaurant!

We walked over to the library and it was unproductive, mainly because I spent half my time thinking of how to summarize the points. So I'm back home now and i'm almost done watching Internet Icon, which is released every week. (it only consists of 10 episodes!)

Anyway, this is the chicken olio spaghetti which I regretted having.
Boy finally got a new bed a week ago!
This was the card I made for my mum about 1-2 weeks ago. I attempted to make a card like this last time but it sort of failed. I searched up #tribal on Tumblr and there were so many designs! I got inspired by the shorts with colorful tribal patterns. :-)

And look! I coincidentally caught 8:08 P.M. on 8 August!

It will be a long and tiring week for me. Which includes next week as well because of the common tests. Till then!

(I've no idea why I just shared my slightly weird and horrible day with people on the Internet.)
